Constructed to withstand the demands of the heaviest offshore fishing applications, the Hooker Electric Flush Mount Rod Holders are a sturdy, functional, and dependable piece of hardware that is built to last. These rod holders feature a heavy duty 1/4″ thick, 4″ x 5″ top plate which is welded directly to the rod tube and will never break. The rod tubes are able to accommodate #2, #4, and #6 sized rod butts in gunnels up to 1-3/4″ thick, 11″ deep, with 2.125″ rod tubes. Each rod holder includes a 1/8″ thick stainless steel backing plate and safety line clip that can be positioned from any mounting bolt. Unlike any other rod holder on the market, these rod holders include a removable pin at 9″ deep on the rod tube. If you desire your rod holder to have a bar pin to fit a rod gimbal, simply insert the pin before installation, or leave it out if no bar pin is desired. Hooker Electric Flush Mount Rod Holders are available with fixed or swivel bases as well as 0 and 15 degree mounting angle options. Swivel based models feature and adjustable drag system that allows fisherman to adjust the amount of pressure necessary to rotate the rod in the holder.
